Shipments are out (again)!

This afternoon I dropped off at the local post office a seriously large bag of Kickstarter rewards which should include everyone who ordered a Porter pin. Tomorrow I will be reviewing the Backerkit rewards management to double check that's the case, and hunt down anyone that may have been missed. (I don't expect to find anyone but would rather cover all my bases.)

If your order arrives and there is any sort of problem with it don't hesitate to message me! I took care of all this myself, I accept that mistakes happen. Also, if your (non international) order takes more than two weeks to arrive let me know. All packages were shipped first class with tracking so I can hunt them down.

I know this whole process took much longer than expected, so to thank for your patience I included something extra, including a Kickstarter backer exclusive vinyl sticker design. (Those who's orders were fulfilled in Oct/Nov got something else, because of some issues with the sticker producer. It's been a journey.)

Porter pins update!

So, mostly good news!

Porter pin replacements came in between the back-to-back conventions MAGFest and Ohayocon, which gave me just enough time to check a handful before hitting the road to Ohio. Given past issues I did not want to update again without solid news.

I've had time now to do QA on over half the pins and so far they're great. At this point I have checked and cleared enough to back and bag all the Kickstarter orders so starting tomorrow that's the plan. This means if you ordered Porter expect your pin(s) to be in the mail system in the next few days.

If you did not order the Porter pin and also have not received your order, please check your messages and/or send me one so I can see what's going on. If memory serves, I held back two orders on a question, but the rest were shipped in October/November.

I'll take some pictures tomorrow while working on packing for shipping.

So I packed and shipped a significant chunk of orders today! I've been packing for the past few and am happy to get all but a few of the non Porter orders squared away by now. (Chances are I'm in touch with you if you didn't order Porter and your package hasn't shipped.) For those in the US, you should see your orders sometime next week. International folks take 2-3 on average. There's an extra little thank you each in package, too.

If your package takes more than 2-3 weeks to arrive or something awful happens t in transit, please don't hesitate to contact me!

For those that pledged for an original I did a special backing card for each pin+original combo. I'd like to leave them as individual backer surprises for now, so here's Brown Ale, a non pledged original:

A note on shipping and Porter design

So as you can guess, there's been a little hiccup. 9/10 of the pins are perfect! I've spent the last week doing QA, sorting, carding, and bagging pins. Here are some photos!

 Eisbock and IPA both came out larger than the other designs; it's a long story. But they look amazing and Eisbock has the added benefit of glow in the dark green eye and tongue! I'll get a photo of it on the next update.

The only problem comes with the chunky floof, Porter, who's eye was not filled on all but six pins. (Those six? Wrong color.) Here's a photo:

My pin rep was pretty dismayed, and a replacement set has been ordered. I'll have 'em in a few weeks.

So what this means for backers? Next week I'll be shipping out all orders that did not order Porter as part of their rewards. If you can't wait AND don't mind having a Porter with an error, comment on the update or message me; I'll send your order out next week. I will not be mounting any of these Porters on cards, so if presentation also matters, please hang tight.

Additionally, I'll be at Nekocon this weekend, so if instead you want to pick up your pins please let me know ahead of time so I can account for your order. I'm bringing a handful of each design to show off and sell but I only have so much space in the car. You can even see dark eyed Porter in person if you're curious.

Pins will be shipped to me today, so I'll have them early next week to begin fulfilling orders!

You'll have until Monday 10/22 to change your survey options, then I'm locking them down.

If you haven't yet responded to the survey I'll be sending out individual notices shortly.
